So his birthday is coming up. You think of something to give him, like a pair of dress shoes from Cole Haan, or a new pair of Jordans, or a Swiss watch, or an out of town trip. But have you thought that it would be cheaper to throw him a surprise party? I did. And this is how I did it. 1. Plan early. I did my planning exactly a month before Jeff’s birthday. I contacted his closest friends, or at least the one I know, from each group and told them my idea. Everyone of them agreed to help. Decide on where to do it. Make sure the venue is easy to find, there is transportation, and there’s parking. As for me, I called all the McDonalds’ and Jollibees in Makati area. The one in PBCom Tower agreed to accommodate me even though they don’t do parties. The manager said that they don’t have a lot of customers on weekends, so it’s not going to be a problem. Decide on the date as …
I threw a surprise party for Jeff at McDonald’s and invited all his friends. Yup, the Girlfriend of the Year award goes to me. LOLS. This is sort of food related, but not really. I just want to share. 😉 Online invitation. The cake from his Hashtag Radio friends. Very cute isn’t it? Btw, Kink Cakes made this. 🙂 Loot! Surprise!!! Make a wish! Games! Our friends who came. Prizes! I can’t wrap my Gift # 5. They’re just too many! Happy birthday, love! This was originally posted on www.nom-mage.com. Author decided to merge The Misis Outtakes and Nom-mage together.
So for Jeff’s birthday, I prepared five gifts for him. So much work, I know. Haha. Gift # 1 is a supporter. Yep, that underwear that you wear when you play sports or whatnot. Gift # 2 is a love letter which I sent via snail mail. Sweet! 😛 And these are gifts #3.1 and 3.2: I actually planned to give him a basketball cake but I was so busy the past days. Yesterday, I asked my friend Sheila if she knows where to buy such. She told me she’ll check Shangrila and Megamall for me. She did and got these cupcakes and cute cake for me. She even blogged about it here. I also gave Jeff these two cute piggies. Yep, that’s me and him. Hahaha. This was originally posted on www.nom-mage.com. This isn’t my first dinner with his family. My first was when Jeff officially introduced me to his family four months ago. But this the first time I get to celebrate his birthday. And it’s going to be big. 😉 Anyway, we went out today and watched a movie. Then we met his parents and his dad bought him his dream shoes, a pair of Jordans! Yay! We later had dinner at Recipe’s Greenbelt. I remember the first time he called me was when I was headed to that same restaurant because I was to meet my friends for our barkada anniversary. Catfish mango. Laing. Garlic fried rice. Fried bangus belly topped with ensaladang mangga. Yum! General’s chicken. My new favorite! Jeff’s family. They’re so nice to me. 🙂 This was originally posted on www.nom-mage.com. Author decided to merge The Misis Outtakes and Nom-mage together.
