Suelas

I’ve been dying to post this since last week but I just can’t since I haven’t used (or un-DS as Jeff would call it) my pair of Suelas shoes yet. But today, I’ve already used my shoes two times so I guess it’s just proper that I share my experience to you my friends. Last Christmas, Deal Grocer offered these pair of shoes on their website. I forgot how much. Our friend, Isa was able to avail of the promo. Actually, it was her boyfriend who purchased the shoes. Sweet! Isa said it’s very comfortable and chic, so I decided to get one too. I bought a coupon from Deal Grocer but I forgot to pay for it. LOLS. Last Friday, I bought my first pair. Yes, my first because I’m expecting to buy another one soon. Here are some of the photos of my Brogue from Suelas which costs Php999.00. Very affordable right? Black Brogues for Php999.00 I asked Jeff which design I should get but he said that he’s always biased for the brogues so he picked …

Balay Indang

Sorry for the late post. I know I should’ve posted this a week ago but I don’t have the pictures. Yep, Jeff and I went on a trip without my loving camera. The morning we’re leaving for Eumir and Sef’s wedding, I just picked whichever I thought I’d need, realizing that I totally forgot my camera. So there, a pictureless trip. Good thing Jeff borrowed his dad’s camera. 😀 We were late for the wedding. Sorry Eums and Sef! But we were able to see the you-may-now-kiss-the-bride part. Few minutes after the wedding, everyone headed to the reception at Balay Indang. Eums is Jeff’s friend from Ateneo. This is the first wedding in this group, next will be ours in April, two in September and one in December. Everyone’s getting married! Sef told us that they picked Balay Indang because they got engaged here. Sweet! Everyone decided to stay for the night after their wedding. Actually, all of them stayed the night before except me and Jeff. Balay Indang charges Php 1,200.00/head for an overnight stay with …

Manila Bay Buffet Ship Cruise with Prestige Cruises

Few months ago, I bought a buffet deal from Metrodeal. It was from Prestige Cruises and today, we used it. I paid Php 250.00 each. Jeff and I were seated upstairs as we paid a hundred more pesos to be there to have a perfect view of the Bay. Prestige Cruises served a very simple meal — rice, pasta and two meat dishes. It was just disappointing that they charged us Php 75.00 for a can of Coke. But everything else is fine. Here are some photos that we took. Two dorks making use of the good lighting. Manila by night.  The ferris wheel in MOA.  Sofitel and full moon. Sorry for the blurry photo.  My Php75 Coke in can. This was originally posted on www.nom-mage.com. Author decided to merge The Misis Outtakes and Nom-mage together.

The J’s Top 11 for 2011

A great year has passed. Whew that was quick! So many great things and great food and great trips that we had. We thought of sharing our Top 11 for 2011. I hope you enjoy our picks! Our first and last picture in 2011. What a great year it was! 11. The Tanay Anniversary Getaway The view from our hotel room.  For our anniversary, Jeff planned an out of town trip. He booked a 2D1N stay in Sierra Madre Hotel and Resort, a hotel in Tanay. I’ve been bugging him to visit the place and he knew just when to do it. The food was just okay. They don’t serve the most extraordinary venison or tapang usa, but.. wait, that’s it, they actually serve tapang usa! Jeff ordered that while I ordered bacon. Both meals were served with fried rice and sunny side up egg.    Our breakfast. On the left is Jeff’s tapang usa and on the right is my bacon.  After breakfast, we drove to Pranjetto hills to try their zipline and other activities. I hate Jeff …
