Red Kimono-ed Birthday

It’s my birthday! Early this morning, Jeff asked me if I wanted to have dinner at a Japanese restaurant. God knows I can survive my entire life eating sushi, so of course, I said yes! So after our Intramuros trip, we headed to Red Kimono in Bonifacio Global City. The place is at The Fort Strip, near the NBC Tent and the then famous Embassy. It was pretty small though. I guess there are only 12-15 tables inside, and a few more outside. It was lighted with lots of yellow bulbs which gave the place a relaxing feel. Jeff has this set of coupons sold to him in their office, so we were able to save a lot. Haha. The service was so good and fast. All our orders were served right away. The sushis and makis were all served in six pieces, really good for two. Red Kimono at The Fort. Jeff ordered the Ripe Mango Fruit Shake. This sells at Php85. I ordered the Ripe Mango + Banana Fruit Shake. Also at Php85. …

Sonya’s Secret Garden

Today is officially our first out of town trip together. It was just supposed to be a Tagaytay trip, but Jeff suggested we go to Sonya’s Secret Garden. My friends Camille and Randie were with us too! Super fun. We arrived just in time for lunch. Mannn we were starving. Jeff was right. The food was great! For the price of Php600+ (I don’t remember the exact price because I didn’t pay haha), you get all these! Bottomless everything! Oye! Calamansi juice with mint leaves. Condiments. Green, leafy vegetables. Haha. Salad was served first. The lettuce were very fresh and crunchy. Bottomless salad condiments! Oh my! Freshly baked bread. Super yummy! You can dip it to some of the condiments served for the salad such as the pesto. And they also serve kesong puti! Eggs My share. Round 1. 😀 Pasta was served next. They also served two sauces: tomato based and cream sauce. Grilled salmon oh so yummy! Pasta sauces and toppings. Tarragon tea. Heavenly chocolate cake! I wanna go back for this! I think this is one of their specialties. 🙂 Sweet potato. I mean, sweetened sweet potato. …
